That said, just how accurate is this essay? Well, most of it is accurate accept for the fact he received a BA hons in Law from the University of Central Lancashire and his PhD from the same university. He never studied at the University of Essex or Nottingham University at all. Moreover, he has never designed any software of any kind in his entire life. So did anyone ever design a program called "policing plagiarism?" The answer is no. It does not exist. ChatGPT just made it up and actually admitted to doing so. But why? I then asked ChatGPT to write a poem about Dr Mike Sutton and it came up with the following fun doggerel
